ana & Nasty Nets experience

Nasty Nets was a blog created to share whatever the users, that collaborated in this blog, found on their "surfing" of the web or even creating their own collages. This can be targets ads, screenshots of their web searches, or even wikiHow's 8 steps on how to get radical. I found it amusing seeing what was posted on the blog as I clicked through. Seeing all the random videos, photos, gifs and even websites shared. Like seeing an animation of a dancing baby and a grown up version of it (Dancing baby has grown). You can really tell that those who collaborated in this blog were just doing it for fun, just sharing whatever they wanted and whatever they saw as they explored the internet.

naraly + experience with nastynets

From the very beginning, this blog attracted my eye because of the colors of the webpage. Most importantly, the front and center piece by Javier Morales was my favorite piece of this website. It inspired this webpage you are visiting now. I am fascinated with the early computer screens and interfaces. I liked how the artpiece by Morales took an ordinary vintage screen and added slime and a glitchy computer screen. My creative idea was to recreate that artpiece and make it interactive.
